The Monkey Spotlight
The Bad Monkey is a tribute to, and haven for, our heroes, offering a thrilling blend of history and nightlife. Adorned with 105mm howitzer shells and featuring a full-sized "Flying Tigers" P-40 Warhawk dramatically crashing through the wall, this bar is a celebration of military valor. Initially built to honor military personnel, it soon became a beloved gathering spot for first responders as well.
It attracts these patrons and honorees as well local regulars, nighttime partiers, and Tampa visitors alike. Located in the heart of Ybor City on the vibrant 7th Avenue, the Bad Monkey has become one of Tampa's most famous and spirited bars.
